The Nomad Pub actually does a pretty good job of rotating cool local artists on their walls and tonight's debut is no exception! Head to the West Bank for a post-work brewski and a gander at local gal Jennifer Sandquist's latest works. Sandquist's portraits definitely sing to the heart of the teenage girl in their angsty femininity and fashionable sensibilities, though the work manages to retain a street-savvy vibe that's both fun and edgy. Good fodder for the hip roadhouse-esque appeal that the Nomad enjoys, say we! The opening runs from 7-10pm with DJs to follow after 10pm. The event is free and open to the public.
