the opening at artifex went really well and i was glad to see some old faces and some new ones! monday was a busy day as well... the nomad and duplex shows came down... and i ran the piece for the visual jazz show out to st. paul. i am really excited for the jazz show... there are over 50 artists participating... and the artist's mercantile is right upstairs from the artist's quarter... where many of the jazz festival events are being held. so far this week i have spent most of my time just trying to calm down from the past few weeks push on shows and get my normal day to day life in order. chaos breeds creativity in me but i think i might've pushed the envelope a little this time :) that being said... this is just the eye of the hurricane. i have a commission to finish this week... and i hang the hardtimes show next tuesday... the jazz opening is next thursday... and i just booked another show for july... that goes up the last week of june... at seoul salon in st. paul.
